Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications. Minimum 09 years of post-qualification experience. At least 09 years post qualification experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in Oil and Gas Sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at Industrial Gas meter stations and Town Border Stations.
• Supervise the effective operation and maintenance of the Data Acquisition System for Customer Meter Stations (CMS) within the designated franchise area.
• Ensure proper functionality of Remote Monitoring Equipment installed across CMSs / TBSs in the franchise area.
• Effective reporting of Exceptions through Remote Monitoring system.
• Design Dashboards and screens for exceptions and monitoring of consumption.
• Oversee the procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to Remote Monitoring, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
• Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower, ensuring timely completion of remote monitoring equipment maintenance activities.
• Develop, implement, and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for every team member.
• Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
• Coordinate and manage field activities related to the installation, startup, maintenance and operation of data acquisition equipment across the franchise network.
• Manage precise gas management, accurate measurement, and pressure adherence according to demand-supply analysis.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for Operations, Maintenance, Revenue and Capital expenditure for the department.
• Manage procurement of spares and equipment according to technical specifications and requirements.
• Manage technical evaluation of bids through the procurement department.
• Plan emergency and contingency procedures for attending to and addressing emergency complaints promptly on 24 / 7 basis.
• Uphold the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of data acquisition equipment.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
