Role : Software Engineer IV – BE As a Software Engineer IV – BE, you will :

Design and develop advanced applications and integrate new software solutions.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new application functionalities related to integrations with external software.

Actively participate in work planning during team meetings.

Conduct code reviews and support colleagues in maintaining code quality.

Develop software in PHP and related languages, adhering to established coding standards.

Troubleshoot and improve application performance.

Implement new technologies and continuously improve the development process.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director or authorized personnel.

Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to workforce management solutions like Humanity.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience with PHP and MySQL.

Strong experience with Git.

A comprehensive understanding of OOP concepts.

Excellent coding skills.

Strong communication skills.

Passion for ingenuity.

Mid‑level product and high technical knowledge.

Ability to analyze and solve increasingly complicated problems.

Extensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Ability to understand requirements and solve technical issues with minimal supervision.

Previous experience working on SaaS projects, ideally in workforce management or other enterprise solutions.

Nice to have : Experience building scheduling, time‑tracking, or calendar‑based features.

Some experience with front‑end technologies like JavaScript frameworks, preferably React JS.

Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
