Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect who can design, connect, and scale our distributed microservice ecosystem. You’ll be the bridge between architecture, reliability, and observability — ensuring all services communicate efficiently, remain healthy, and are monitored with precision.

You’ll work closely with our AI, backend, and DevOps teams to enforce best practices for system health, visibility, and cross‑service communication — building a foundation that supports enterprise‑grade scalability and uptime.

What You’ll Do

Architect and maintain a microservice‑based system ensuring seamless inter‑service communication, presence, and synchronization.
Design health check, heartbeat, and presence frameworks to track service uptime and reliability.
Implement observability standards — including centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting across services.
Lead documentation efforts for architectural patterns, API contracts, and service dependencies.
Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines and ensure smooth service orchestration.
Perform architecture reviews and identify areas for improvement in system design and maintainability.
Guide engineering teams on best practices for distributed systems, scaling, and fault tolerance.

What You Bring

7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3+ in architecture or systems design roles.

Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed system design .

Experience with Node.js / Python / Go , and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with AWS / GCP / Azure , service mesh architectures , and load balancing strategies .

Strong background in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) and logging frameworks (ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Proven ability to write clear system documentation and technical specs .

Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Bonus Points

Experience with AI or event‑driven architectures .

Familiarity with serverless systems or real‑time applications (WebSockets, SSE).

Knowledge of security best practices and infrastructure observability .
