Job Description
- The assigned individual will be responsible for managing the 24-hour operational Darkstore and will be based on-site. A minimum presence of 6-8 hours at the Darkstore is expected daily, with continued virtual coordination with the team beyond on-ground hours.
- Coordinate the end-to-end warehouse processes, including inbound management, stock handling, storing, and order dispatching on a timely basis.
- Responsible for steering warehouse operations to meet SLAs and KPIs.
- Proactively recommend and implement operational goals, objectives, and process improvements.
- Manage Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures to ensure departmental compliance with regulations by performing periodic safety and health risk assessments.
- Allocate resources to ensure optimal efficiency, including scheduling.
- Liaise with the commercial department to manage fast and slow-moving lines, spoilages, wastages, shrinkages, and the implementation of returns, refunds, damaged, and expired goods.
- Ensure periodic stock takes are carried out and recorded accurately. Maintain physical and system stock variation targets within acceptable tolerance limits.
- Implement policies, procedures, and work standards effectively.
- Coordinate periodic maintenance of facilities and escalate malfunctions to the Realty Facility Manager.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders with 100% accuracy.
- Keep records of stock expiries and prevent delivery of damaged or expired products to customers.
- Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders such as neighbors, suppliers, and foodpanda riders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.In-depth knowledge of operations and first principles (e.g., supply chain, customer service, JIT, Six Sigma).Knowledge of local industry legislation.Stakeholder management experience, including with vendor delivery teams, neighbors, and community.Working knowledge of performance and operation metrics.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and demand forecasting and stock replenishment tools.Excellent manpower planning and scheduling skills, including managing off days, leaves, absences, and variable demand.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Information
