We are looking for a seasoned Principal Software Engineer (Node.js) to lead backend architecture and development for scalable, high-performance systems. This role involves guiding technical decisions, mentoring developers, and driving innovation across multiple projects. The ideal candidate must be proficient in TypeScript and Nest.js , have strong expertise in MongoDB , and be skilled in building optimized APIs .

Experience with WebSocket s, Microservices , and Redis is essential. The candidate should also have a good understanding of system design and best practices for performance and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture design and development using Node.js and related frameworks
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Review code, provide technical guidance, and drive engineering best practices
• Participate in technical decision-making and long-term system design
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability of backend services
