As a

Senior Full Stack Engineer , you’ll work on cutting-edge features that directly influence how students and advisors interact with their academic journey. Whether it’s improving course planning interfaces or optimizing backend systems for faster, more reliable performance, the projects you deliver will enhance the educational experience for more than a million students worldwide. Every line of code you write will help students make better academic decisions, stay on track, and ultimately graduate confidently. You’ll also mentor junior engineers, guiding their technical and professional growth. Lead the delivery of impactful projects. These may include migrating our front-end application for improved performance, optimizing our codebase, and building new features that enhance functionality and reliability. Ensure each project prioritizes student and advisor needs, driving meaningful impact in academic decision-making. Maintain high standards for code quality, following best practices like accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and security (OWASP Top 10). Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engage in customer discussions to ensure alignment with project goals. Take full ownership of project execution, ensuring minimal disruptions and efficient delivery. Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development and growth. Contribute to broader engineering initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and technical scalability. Who You Are

Technical Expertise Database Management : Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with ElasticSearch and AWS is a plus. Testing & Code Quality : Experience with automated testing tools like PyTest, Jest, or Cypress, as well as CI / CD pipelines. Project Delivery : Proven track record of delivering impactful projects in close collaboration with PMs and designers, measuring real-world outcomes. Ownership & Accountability : You take full responsibility for delivering high-impact projects, ensuring top-notch quality, and meeting deadlines. Every decision you make directly impacts the students we serve. Mentorship : Growth is core to Stellic’s culture. You’ll guide junior engineers, helping them develop technical skills and fostering their growth within the team. Collaboration : You excel in cross-functional teamwork, working closely with other teams like Product, Design, and Customer Success to ensure project alignment and execution.
