Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch according to client specifications and design requirements. Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project needs. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional WordPress solutions. Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers. Conduct thorough code reviews and implement best practices for maintainable and scalable code. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications / Job Specification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development. Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Proficiency in custom theme development, including creating custom post types, taxonomies, and meta-boxes. Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Underscores. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Good communication skills and fluency in English. Bonus Skills

Experience with headless WordPress development. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Understanding of accessibility standards and practices. Experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal or Joomla.
