is currently hiring on behalf of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the position of Auditor - Inland Revenue across the South Region, including : LTO Karachi, CTO Karachi, MTO Karachi, RTO-I Karachi, RTO-II Karachi, RTO Sukkur, RTO Hyderabad, RTO Quetta, PCA HQ, and PCA South. Responsibilities

Conduct Audits :

Assist officers in desk audits, investigative audits, forensic audits, and field audits of Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise matters. Data Reconciliation :

Analyze taxpayer declarations and reconcile Income Tax, Sales Tax, Federal Excise, Customs, and CVT data to detect discrepancies, fraud, and compliance issues. Examine Records :

Review tax returns, books of accounts, financial statements, vouchers, ledgers, purchase / sales records, stock reports, and ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, Companies Act 2017, and tax laws. Risk Identification :

Use financial ratios, industry benchmarks, and audit history to identify high-risk taxpayers and compliance gaps. Verification :

Check cost of sales, administrative / selling expenses, financial charges, withholding taxes, trade creditors / debtors, bank statements, and balance sheet items for accuracy. Tax Computations :

Assist in advance tax computation, exemptions, reduced rate reports, and verification of losses, tax credits, and payments. Fraud Detection :

Conduct chain analysis of buyers and suppliers to detect possible tax fraud cases. Compliance Monitoring :

Monitor withholding taxes, advance taxes, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise Duty (FED) to identify non-compliance risks. On-site Visits :

Support officers during business premises inspections to understand processes, input-output pricing, and sales-purchase volumes. Reporting :

Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings, risk areas, non-compliance, gaps, and recommendations, including third-party data verification where needed. Qualifications

ACCA Affiliates / Fresh ACCA Members : Relevant Experience Required Salary & Benefits

Salary Range :

ACCA Affiliates / Fresh ACCA Members : PKR 115,000 to PKR 140,000 Benefits :

Age limit is up to 35 Years. The selected candidates shall be deployed to the FBR on a 3-year contractual period through HRSG. Part-qualified and finalists are not eligible. Apply
