Job description

ZURA Cloud (working with client RoutineX) is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the final month of an MVP and help finish, polish and extend the product. The hiring process concludes within one week . This is an initial 4-month contract (1 Oct → end of Jan); strong performance may lead to an extension and international client work.

About the product :

You’ll work on a modular, mobile-first training portal (RoutineX) — multi-tenant, content-first (video, PDF, images), quiz engine, certificates, department-based assignment, and admin dashboards. The frontend is React (Vite / Next / Vite-like setups) and needs to be performant and accessible for mobile users.

Responsibilities

  • Design & deliver a professional corporate website for ZURA Cloud / RoutineX (marketing site, pricing, homepage, contact, customer onboarding pages). Must be pixel-perfect, responsive, SEO-aware, and include working links / case studies / portfolio pages.
  • Support product frontend development (MVP completion and next-phase features) : implement UI components, integrate with Django / DRF APIs, fix bugs, write tests, improve performance and accessibility, and help ship production releases.
  • Lead design and implementation of a polished corporate website (UX → production).
  • Build and maintain React UI for the product : reusable components, forms, dashboards, and responsive layouts.
  • Collaborate with backend (Django / DRF), product and design to deliver mobile-first, performant APIs and UIs.
  • Implement frontend tests (unit + integration), CI pipelines, and best practices for deployments.
  • Optimize performance (bundle size, lazy loading, caching) and ensure accessibility (WCAG basics).
  • Mentor junior frontend devs and help maintain style system / component library.

Must-have

  • Proven experience with React (hooks, component architecture, state management) and modern build tooling.
  • Portfolio of professional corporate websites (live links / projects). Applications without working examples will not be considered.
  • Strong HTML / CSS skills, responsive design, and mobile-first UX.
  • Experience with frontend testing (Jest / RTL, Cypress or similar).
  • Available to start 1 Oct 2025 and commit to the 4-month schedule.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a small, fast-moving team.

    • Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Django / Python or working with Django REST Framework (helps with API design & integration).
  • Familiarity with video / media players and content workflows.
  • Experience with design systems, Tailwind / CSS-in-JS, or component libraries.
  • SEO / semantic markup experience for public marketing sites.

  • Initial 4-month contract; strong results may lead to extension and paid opportunities with international clients.
  • Fast hiring — aim to complete selection in one week and onboard for Oct 1.
