Social Media Manager

Third Venture Interactive is growing and has an opening for a social media executive. We need a creative tech ninja extraordinaire who can bring out-of-the-box ideas to the table yet have understanding of basic tech concepts. Third Venture is on the hunt for someone who has the ability to :

Develop quality content for social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn)

Churn out catchy, engaging digital streams to create engagement and awareness about the dreams

Manage social media pages actively with a variety of posts going out on a daily and weekly basis

The ideal candidate should have :

Technical background yet an eye for creativity

Superb content writing skills

Amazing time management abilities

Experience of managing social media pages

Preferably a good following on Facebook, Twitter etc.

A go-getter, excited attitude

Passion to work with a startup and take it places!

Job Specification

Writing : Social media manager will need to know how to write effective copy for websites, twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is also needed.

Research : Social media managers need to know what is happening in the fast changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being use.

Problem-Solving : Social media managers figure out how to best communicate a company's message on different platforms, and sometimes might need to convey sensitive issues or deal with angry customers.

Organization : There are many different platforms, and new ones are being developed all the time. How you communicate on each, determining audience, and measuring tactics all take organization.

Interpersonal Skills : Even through writing, social media managers are a direct connection between a company and the public. Being friendly and approachable online will help.

Technical Skills : Social media manager will work almost exclusively through computers & cameras. Understanding computers, photography, SEO, internet access and being tech savvy is necessary.
