Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level systems infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to systems engineering team members, guiding them in best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Develop and implement system architecture plans and strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide technical expertise for system‑related projects.
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of server hardware, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions.
- Lead system performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization efforts to maintain optimal system performance and efficiency aligned with approved SOPs.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Managing user accounts and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations by implementing appropriate security measures and controls.
- Lead system‑related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
- Managing Storage solutions and ensuring routine backups.
- Implementing and managing enterprise‑grade anti‑virus solutions, ensuring real‑time protection, regular updates, and threat response procedures.
- Leading and overseeing endpoint security measures, including patching cycles, vulnerability assessments, and remediation strategies to maintain a secure environment.
- Conduct POCs with team members for new products for performance optimization.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support and maintenance activities for critical cases.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.7+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities and leadership.Extensive experience with designing, implementing, and managing enterprise‑level systems infrastructure.Strong expertise in server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux / Unix), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V), and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud.Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, RHCE, or equivalent is highly desirable.Soft Skills

Compliance tracking, and security hardening.Advanced system performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization skills.Proficiency in system security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments.Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, etc.) for system tasks.Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Job Details
