Job responsibilities and requirements for a Software Quality Assurance Tester role. Responsibilities

Test Planning and Execution :

Develop and execute test plans based on software requirements. Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. Manual Testing :

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications. Document and track software defects, providing detailed reports to the development test team. Utilize tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Chrome Developer Tools for issue tracking, project management, and debugging. Regression Testing :

Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and objectives. Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to software quality assurance. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Up to 6 months professional experience. Good understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies. Knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, Chrome Developer Tools, and SQL is a plus for candidates with prior experience. Exposure to automation tools will be considered a strong advantage. Other Details
