As we continue to expand internationally, we are looking for a
skilled and proactive Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant
to support our
EU finance operations
remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage the
purchase ledger
– process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, and reconcile vendor accounts.
Manage the
sales ledger
– post customer invoices, record receipts, and monitor outstanding balances
Perform
daily and monthly bank reconciliations
for multiple currencies and accounts
Prepare
weekly and monthly sales and financial performance reports
for the EU entity.
Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure records are complete and accurate.
Work closely with the
Finance Director
to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
Requirements
2 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a
retail, e-commerce,
Strong knowledge of
purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations
Experience with accounting software such as
Xero
Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Good understanding of
EU accounting and VAT processes
(training will be provided).
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
