Assistant Manager Operations

Implementation, maintenance and support of organization’s networks. Manage a team of network engineers. Define network solutions, and manage the implementation of the solution. Assist in defining and implementing engagement processes for new networking business coming into the Organization. Plan, implement and monitor all data communications systems for the Company. Primary interface for troubleshooting and resolving data network problems. Provide operational support to Helpdesk staff. Responsible for upgrading and support of data network hardware and software. Direct and perform network architecture design and analysis of communication networks and protocols supporting the implementation of all aspects related to converged voice and data Service Provider networks. Analyze and design network architecture of state of the art converged data and voice over XDSL, IP, and ATM based networks and related signaling, network management, security, network and application protocols. Conduct trade-off and performance studies dealing with the implementation of various services, applications and protocols in a Service Provider Network, evaluation of software products and network equipment / appliances, system and network integration testing. Prepare plans and strategies of WOL. Act as primary organizational interface with vendors and provide internal analysis and support. Manage performance of multiple hardware and software platform interfaces at a complex level. Job Specification

Required Education : B.Sc. (Electronics / Electrical Engineering) / M.Sc. Computer Sciences from a reputable institution. Must be CCNA, CCNP / CCIE.

Required Experience : 6 years relevant work experience, with at least 4 years of managerial experience in IT / Telecom / ISP / Broadband fields. Experience of dealing with PTCL, PTA and Govt. Agencies for network upgradation and maintenance. Information Technology and Services - Karachi, Pakistan
