JOB DETAILS

Job Responsibilities :

Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for building submission approvals.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs adhere to project specifications.
Review and analyze building plans for compliance with local regulations and codes.
Assist in the development of draft versions of designs for review and discussion with project stakeholders.
Maintain and organize project files documents and records in a systematic manner.
Revise drawings and plans based on feedback from project teams and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with contractors and construction teams for clarification on design details.
Keep abreast of advancements in technology and methodologies applicable to drafting practices.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a draftsman specifically in preparing submission drawings.

Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Extensive knowledge of building codes zoning regulations and construction law.

Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering plans.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

Degree or diploma in drafting architecture engineering or related field.

6-10 years of experience in a similar role.

Professional certification in drafting or related areas is preferred.

In-depth understanding of construction processes and architectural design principles.

Additional Skills :

Familiarity with 3D modeling software is an advantage.

Experience in liaising with local authorities for compliance and approvals.

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
