You will assist in building our amazing brand through web and native projects. The ideal candidate has prior DeFi protocol development experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, smart contracts, and DeFi primitives. We would love someone with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, strong protocol design skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, DeFi-focused environment.

What you'll do Build, configure, and maintain our AWS infrastructure Manage GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning Develop and maintain backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption Working with the larger DevOps team at Gala to accomplish company-wide goals, as well as maintaining direct team contributions. Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services Monitor infrastructure and identify areas for improvement Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field 5+ years of AWS security, including IAM, Secrets Manager, EC2, and Lambda. Experience managing GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning Professional experience with application-level security Knowledge of backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption Knowledge and experience with CDK, Kubernetes, Gitlab cicd, C#, NodeJs, and Python Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator Gala is an equal-opportunity employer and adopts a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination.
