About the Role

We are seeking a talented and imaginative Sketch Artist to collaborate with renowned scrap metal sculptor

• . The artist will be responsible for creating detailed sketches of sculpture concepts, which will serve as blueprints for life-size metal artworks. Key Responsibilities Create conceptual sketches of sculptures based on ideas, themes, or inspirations provided. Translate abstract concepts into clear, detailed, and proportionate drawings. Work closely with the sculptor to refine designs before construction. Ensure sketches are practical for life-size execution while maintaining artistic expression. Provide multiple variations and creative input when required. Maintain deadlines and adapt sketches to align with exhibition or commission requirements. Requirements Strong portfolio showcasing sketching / drawing ability (preferably related to art, design, or sculpture). Proficiency in hand-drawn sketching; digital sketching tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.) are a plus. Understanding of proportions, anatomy, and structure. Creativity, imagination, and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and incorporate feedback from the sculptor. Preferred Qualifications Background in Fine Arts, Design, or Architecture (not mandatory but an advantage). Experience in conceptual art or sculpture-related sketches.
