1) Background
Accelerate Prosperity (AP) is a joint initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) in Central and South Asia. It aspires to work towards a society that is powered by innovative and successful young entrepreneurs. Through its services, AP extends tailored training, advice, and technical assistance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs to help them launch or expand their innovative business ventures. It also extends tailored financing to start‑ups and SGBs to help them unlock external investments by improving their bankability and investment readiness.
2) Program Overview
Start‑up Pakistan is a project financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) and implemented by Accelerate Prosperity. The initiative aims to scale up Accelerate Prosperity’s existing model of technical support and financing for businesses. It will expand into new geographies and across exciting sectors such as education, health, tourism, and green economy, prioritizing digitization and environmental sustainability.
3) Purpose of the Assignment
An annual survey is being conducted to gather data from the AP supported businesses including those incubated, accelerated and financed, as part of its routine monitoring exercises. The enumerators will be responsible for collecting survey data telephonically from these beneficiaries in Pakistan, while ensuring confidentiality.
4) Scope of work
Business Survey :
Participate in capacity‑building workshops and engage in mock exercises.
Manage telephonic interviews, conduct follow‑up calls, and maintain prompt communication with businesses regarding any changes in plans.
Collaborate with team leads to ensure smooth and efficient task execution.
Verify the completeness and accuracy of recorded survey responses, and perform data quality checks as needed.
Utilize the AP‑provided data dictionary and supporting documents to explain categorical variables to respondents when necessary.
Submit finalized questionnaires to supervisors through electronic means.
Ensure timely data entry and submission.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all information collected from businesses.

6) Qualifications and Experience
The interested individuals must have the following qualifications and experience :
Enumerators are expected to have the ability to pay full attention to what entrepreneurs are saying, understand the points being made, and ask appropriate follow‑up questions for clarity. They must also know how to talk to respondents in an effective and respectful way to convey the meaning of survey questions and to subsequently gather accurate information. It is crucial for an enumerator to be able to gather information by carefully observing and obtaining useful data from related sources. An Enumerator must recognize and understand the reaction of other people, be able to write effectively to communicate relevant information, and have the expertise to record, transcribe, organize, enter, and maintain data in electronic forms.
7) Contract Duration
Duration : 8 December 2025 – 31 January 2026 (tentative)
The duration will be one month only.
8) Location
The position is Remote, and no traveling is required.
9) Payment terms
Payment will be made against proof of submission of deliverables and approval of the MER and Insights Manager.
10) Reporting Line
The company will be the MER and Insights Manager at Accelerate Prosperity Pakistan.
