What is Specialist Cyber Security Operations? The role reports directly to the Manager Identity and Access Operations and will be part of a 10‑member team. It is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms – One Identity Manager and PingID, and supports the secure and efficient execution of user identity lifecycle activities, access provisioning, authentication management, and compliance monitoring.
Additionally, the resource will assist in completing Phase 2 of the IAM Project, ensuring successful application integrations, process automation, and alignment with corporate security standards.
Responsibilities
Perform daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of One Identity Manager and PingID.
Handle user provisioning, de‑provisioning, and access modifications across AD, enterprise, and cloud systems.
Acknowledge and act upon 100% of IAM‑related monitoring alerts (UFM alerts) within defined SLAs.
Maintain IAM workflows and ensure proper execution of approval processes and access requests.
Document and escalating major incidents or recurring operational issues.
Perform IAM data sanitization and maintain platform hygiene.
Support the integration of new applications with One Identity and PingID for SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
Coordinate with application owners and IAM L2 / L3 teams for requirement gathering and onboarding activities.
Assist in documentation, configuration validation, and sign‑off tracking for project deliverables.
Participate in testing, UAT, and go‑live support activities during Phase 2 rollout.
Follow predefined runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all IAM activities.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 / L3 IAM teams while maintaining ownership until closure.
Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) and IT teams to resolve authentication or policy violations.
Maintain clear communication and ticket updates in line with SLA commitments.
Maintain daily / weekly reports on provisioning status, incident trends, and compliance KPIs.
Update and improve IAM operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
Support the creation of dashboards for access governance metrics and system health.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management, or System Administration.
Hands‑on experience with One Identity Manager and PingID / PingFederate, or any other IAM solution.
Proficiency in One Identity Manager basic administration, provisioning, and workflow configuration.
Proficiency in Ping‑ID / PingFederate for SSO, MFA, and authentication management.
Understanding of RBAC, IAM lifecycle, and compliance controls.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and access provisioning workflows.
Basic understanding of SAML, OAuth 2, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
Exposure to Windows and Linux environments, patch management, and IAM integrations.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and adherence to process.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
