Job description

University Degree (IT, Software Engineering)

  • Responsible for all day-to-day ATM Operations regarding software installations, networking, software and hardware upgrades.
  • Devising wireless networking solutions for feasible ATM connectivity, remote monitoring solutions, maintenance, uptime, networking and hardware devices, rollout / workflow plans, and benchmarking of downtime of ATMs.
  • Shall manage the team of engineers all across Pakistan in the most efficient way including their hiring and training; will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the engineers by designing an effective and practical performance management system on a monthly basis with an objective of bringing about continuous improvement in the customer support services.
  • Will be responsible for smooth implementation of the contractual agreements with the business partners.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the client organizations and vendors for the various routine operations.
  • Will be responsible for assisting the Head of Operations in Project Planning including providing inputs for project costing, financial projections and decisions for offsite ATM deployment projects and their implementation.
  • Will be responsible for preparing ATMs Performance Analysis based on costs and revenues; keeping track of ATM transactions and suggesting promotional tools to increase the usage of ATMs.
  • Will also be responsible for the procurement of Software and Hardware.

Job Specification

  • Networking Topologies such as LAN, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, VPN, CDMA, CDMA2000, WAN and MAN is a must.
  • Operational Knowledge of Databases SQL Server 2000, MS Access and Personal Oracle 8.
  • Operational knowledge of Operating Systems Windows 7 / Windows Vista / XP / Server / NT / 2000 / ME, MS-DOS.
  • Should have knowledge of programming languages such as C / C++, Visual Basic 6.0, Crystal Reports 7 & 8, SQL, PL / SQL, Developer 6i.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hardware maintenance will be an added advantage.
  • Should possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Should have training capabilities.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
