The Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Zahela, you will be the frontline of our sales engine. You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging decision-makers at cybersecurity, robotics, and other technology companies, qualifying their needs, and booking meetings for our senior sales team. This is a foundational role with clear paths for growth into closing or leadership positions for top performers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting : Research and identify key contacts
- Outbound Outreach : Execute multi-channel outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone) to generate interest and book qualified meetings.
- Qualification : Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess fit using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing).
- CRM Management : Log all activities, updates, and prospect information accurately.
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing and account teams to align outreach with campaigns and client success stories.
- Industry Learning : Stay updated on trends in cybersecurity, robotics, and B2B marketing to speak credibly with prospects.
What We’re Looking For
Fluent English is mandatory : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior B2B audiences.B2B Mindset : Understanding of or strong interest in B2B sales and marketing dynamics.Hunter Mentality : Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to exceed monthly meeting targets.Tech Curiosity : Interest in learning about cybersecurity, robotics, and emerging tech—no expert knowledge required, just enthusiasm.Coachability : Eagerness to learn our process, accept feedback, and grow your sales skills.Basic Tech Comfort : Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or outreach platforms is a plus.Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
6+ months of experience in outbound sales, BDR / SDR, or lead generation.Previous exposure to cybersecurity, robotics, or SaaS industries.Experience with sales tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.What We Offer
