Overview
Senior Sales Executive – Industrial is responsible to create and manage customer accounts of industries including Textile, Paper, Corrugation, Chemical and Allied. Work out strategies and action plans to strengthen the customer base. Develop new business via new products / new customers. Responsible to achieve sales goals in his area of operations. Handle customer technical queries as first response.

Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategic Planning – Find new customers to increase the customer base and maintain existing and potential customers list. Identify new growth opportunities and liaise with marketing, business development, R&D and Applications teams as appropriate. Develop strategic account plans shared and mutually agreed with the company and customer. Identify key decision makers and influencers in the customer’s organization and develop an effective network.
- Market Intelligence – Scan the market for competitor insights and suggest commercial conditions or products to counter competition. Stay updated with competition and devise counter actions; report market trends to line management.
- Drive Growth – Focus on Innovation and Specialty Products growth. Demonstrate value delivery to customers through accurate quantification and effective communication. Advise customers on technical matters, handle basic technical queries, and establish as a techno-commercial contact point. Embed Ingredion’s company values and maintain the opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.com and manual radars.
- Internal & External Collaboration – Align with internal stakeholders to drive best practices and leverage knowledge, resources, and expertise. Work with customer service and supply chain to manage forecasts and demand planning to fulfill customer requirements and deliver satisfaction.
- Day-to-Day Operations – Maintain baseline sales with all customers / regions. Address day-to-day technical queries and issues. Conduct customer visits for relationship building and query resolution. Achieve sales revenues and profitability targets in line with goals.
