Job description

At Emergen, we are seeking an experienced ERP / Business Functional Consultant to partner with clients on ERP implementations and optimizations that align system capability with business processes.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements; produce BRDs / FRDs and process maps
Configure ERP modules; support customizations, integrations, and data migration
Lead functional testing, UAT, and go‑live readiness activities
Train end users and provide post‑implementation hypercare and support
Collaborate with technical teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions
Recommend best‑practice process improvements across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Requirements

Proven experience as an ERP / Business Functional Consultant

Hands‑on exposure to one or more ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Odoo, NetSuite)

Strong understanding of core business processes and reporting / analytics needs

Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively with remote teams.
