Sales Executive

Responsibilities

• Keep all office files (Sales Invoices, & Sales Orders, etc.).
• Call / inform Admin Dept to contact courier company for pickup and delivery.
• Help in stock taking activities.
• Ensure presence during audit days.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through meetings, telephone calls and emails.
• Receive orders by telephone calls, in person and through letters.
• Verify status, prepare sales orders and coordinate packing.
• Maximize sales of goods and meet set targets.
• Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
• Represent organization at exhibitions, demonstrations, events and outdoor stalls.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales, ensuring delivery terms and complete product information.
• Handle account receivables.
• Handle customer calls for collection, account adjustments, reconciliations and process credit & debit notes; reconcile disputes over outstanding balances.
• Communicate & follow up effectively with accounts department regarding customer accounts upgradation; inform Accounts Dept / HO immediately of discrepancies.
• Liaise with Accounts Dept daily to get updates on online payments received from customers.
• Generate sale orders promptly and arrange timely dispatch to customers.
• Ensure accuracy of customer invoices per packing details.
• Book shipping expenses into customers’ accounts after receipt of bill from courier company.
• Provide awareness to walk‑in customers for books, cards & Quran and Sunnah, helping them solve daily routine problems.
• Present occasional Dua cards & books attractively.
• Provide syllabus on time to students of Al‑Huda and manage their requirements.
• Wear neat & clean uniform / cloths.
• Welcome customers with a smile.
• Answer all customer questions / queries satisfactorily.
• Notify about faulty product.
• No food in book shop, stall, office unless emergency or no other staff present.
• Prevent irrelevant persons from sitting or staying in stall area or on counter.
• Present Islamic teachings in a manner attracting people to Islam products.
• Do not allow / promote credit facility to cash customers or to customers from other registered branches not officially allowed credit facility.
• Take care of official assets in use.
• Inform line manager / HOD about any damage to office items.
• Ensure counter positioned correctly before leaving book shop.
• Note daily routine issues, suggestions and other information in notebook.
• Look after work place cleanliness and spray insect killer timely.
• Display authentic products approved by Research & Publications department.
• Perform any other duty assigned by HOD.
