The position encompasses carrying out business development activities in a call center specifically handling telemarketing sales, dealing with new and prospective clients, developing relationships, improving client experience, looking after a team of sales representatives, and achieving expected targets. In short, a floor supervisor / team leader role is to run a team successfully by handling a wide range of activities including sales, marketing, and ensuring the quality of sales.
Working in our call center, he / she is in constant contact with the sales representatives, ensuring results, handling transferred calls, and being a role model for other telemarketers by providing excellent telecommunication skills and closing deals.
Job Specification
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service over the call.
- Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.
- Responsible for maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales.
- Retain existing customers and develop a new customer base.
- Handle day-to-day sales operations.
- Maintain sales and productivity records.
- Address staffing issues in liaison with Manager HR, such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing training and development.
- Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
Skills Required :
Must have a bachelor's degree or master's degree.Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience in team leading / supervising a call center.Must possess a pleasant, positive, and confident personality.Good communication, organizational, IT, and presentation skills are required.Proficient in handling pressure, achieving sales goals, and going the extra mile to generate sales.#J-18808-Ljbffr
