About the Client : Our client is one of the leading Web development agencies.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and NestJS to design, build, and scale production‑grade backend systems and microservices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years backend engineering with Node.js
  • 3–5 years hands‑on NestJS (must have completed multiple production projects)
  • Experience with high‑scale, distributed, or mission‑critical systems
  • Expert in NestJS (modules, DI, providers, interceptors, pipes, guards, filters)
  • Strong understanding of Node.js internals
  • Solid grasp of Clean Architecture, SOLID, DDD, Hexagonal / Onion
  • Familiarity with CQRS and event‑driven patterns

Microservices & Distributed Systems

  • Built and maintained microservices in production
  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS / SNS, NATS, Redis Streams)
  • Knowledge of retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, Sagas / Outbox

    • Databases & Caching

  • TypeORM or Prisma mastery
  • Redis / Memcached experience

    • Testing & Quality

  • Expert with Jest (unit, integration, e2e)
  • Strong DI testing, mocking, CI / CD quality enforcement

    • Production Readiness

  • Security best practices (validation, JWT / RBAC, rate limiting)
  • Monitoring / observability (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, OTel)
  • Performance profiling and debugging

    • DevOps Fluency

  • Docker, CI / CD (GitHub Actions / GitLab)
  • Basic IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation)

    • Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and technical leadership

    • Other Details :

  • Location : Remote
  • Timings : Monday - Friday
  • Salary : depends on expertise
