Translator for SUN Manual-English to Urdu (Pakistan) Wycliffe Associates is working on Bible translation projects for deaf and blind individuals all over the world, using a process called SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation), which is a symbol-based writing system that will give the deaf and the deaf-blind immediate access to Scripture. For this project, we are seeking native or bilingual Urdu speakers who can translate an English training manual into Urdu. These training manuals will be used for teachers to the deaf and blind in Urdu speaking regions. Responsibilities : Translate the English training manual into Urdu. Ensure accuracy and clarity in the translation. Collaborate with the project team as needed. Minimum Requirements : Fluency in both English and Urdu. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel. Access to a computer and the internet. Ability to commit approximately 10 to 12 hours of service per week. This work is entirely remote and may take a few months to complete. This is a volunteer ministry opportunity. Using your language skills, you can help bring the Gospel to the blind and deaf!
