About the role : We’re looking for an experienced accountant to prepare corporate financial statements and Canadian tax returns (T1 & T2) for our clients. You’ll work on full-cycle files, from planning through completion, and ensure accuracy at every stage. This is a fully remote position, and we value autonomy. We don’t micromanage, but we do expect you to take ownership, be proactive, and deliver excellent results.
Responsibilities
Prepare corporate financial statements for Canadian companies, from planning to completion (including supporting working papers) while working in
CaseWare
Prepare
Canadian corporate (T2) and personal (T1) income tax returns
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in tax filings and financial reporting
Collaborate with the team using modern communication and task-management tools
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an accounting role, within a Canadian accounting firm
Expert-level proficiency in Caseware —
non-negotiable
Hands-on experience with Canadian T1 & T2 tax returns (corporate and personal)
Experience with Taxprep is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable working remotely and independently
Important : If you have never worked with Caseware or Canadian corporate tax returns (T1 / T2) at a Canadian firm, this role is not for you. A technical test is required in the second stage of our process.
