Job description

Responsibilities

  • Candidate must work as Technical Expert for complex Netguard Security Products, Solutions and their Services ( NIAM, NACM, NCM, NCLM, NEDR, NSMC , NCYD etc).
  • Candidate must be expert in Database ( MariaDB ) and its working with application performance
  • Can install, configure, migrate, monitor and operate technology solutions in highly complex Production environments and instruct and direct those doing these tasks as well.
  • Has the understanding of customer needs and support to satisfy those needs.
  • Ready to work in different time-zones based on assignment requirement.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as & when required to support Business.
  • The main responsibilities will be Application deployment, DB migration, DB performance analysis and Tuning, integration and validation services of Security Products and solutions; requiring knowledge in multiple technical areas.
  • Keep up to date knowledge on latest local and worldwide technology standards, rules and regulations, as well as to keep a track on newest technology trends to be act as trustworthy presenter
  • Set up monitoring and other activities on customer DB servers
  • Perform periodic health checks and reports on customer systems
  • Strong knowledge of SQL query writing and optimization
  • Conduct analysis, deployment, Integration, testing, tuning and debugging
  • Identifying application functional and performance issues and provide solution.
  • Very strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Requirements

Required Qualifications : (Education, Technical Skills / Knowledge)

  • Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience required, Candidates with degree in a technical field (CS, EE, etc.) will be more relevant.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in the relevant industry
  • OS : Hands on knowledge on Linux, Windows Servers
  • In depth Knowledge of Cloud Computing (OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
  • Have exposer in Virtualization and containerization.
  • Experience in any of the public cloud platform like AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
  • Skill in scripting languages (e.g., Bash / Shell scripting, Perl, Python, etc.)
  • Micro-services, Containerized application & cloud native fundamentals
  • Good to have knowledge of IAM, SIEM, SOAR, IDS, IPS, Firewalls etc.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Network Security Protocols Security (TLS / SSL and PKI), Encryption Algorithm (symmetric and asymmetric) etc
  • Have experience in Prometheus, Grafana and ELK stacks
  • Demonstrated ability to convert requirements into an effective solution
  • Sound understanding of operator- and cloud-technology.
  • Has good knowledge and experience of Industry best practices and automation tools and can evaluate and implement as per need.
  • Multi-node MySQL / MariaDB high availability, database replication , replicated database environment on private cloud.
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
  • Desire to learn new skills and new technologies
  • Experience with agile development process
  • Able to lead projects and coordinate with other Engineers, Architects and infrastructure team
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality solutions
  • Customer focus and understanding of the business strategy.
  • Creative, problem-solving mind-set and innovative thinking.
  • Focused on achieving results and meeting long term goals
