Job Opportunity : Head of Engineering (Crypto) – Remote (Pakistan)

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Head of Engineering with extensive engineering experience and proven leadership abilities. This role involves leading and managing diverse teams, including data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and QA testers. The Head of Engineering will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, formulate and implement strategic initiatives, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization. Key responsibilities include driving innovation through research and development, proposing and managing project budgets, and overseeing all project activities. To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional foresight, strong communication skills, a deep understanding of various engineering disciplines, and a knack for risk management. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of both technical and supervisory excellence, with a keen appreciation for the complexities of the cryptocurrency industry. Key Responsibilities :

Product Roadmap Ownership :

Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap. Budget Management :

Propose and manage budgets for various projects. Team Supervision :

Oversee and coordinate the work of multiple engineering teams. Strategic Planning :

Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely project completion. Research and Development :

Drive innovation by researching and developing new designs and products. Talent Development :

Identify training needs and foster talent development within teams. Stakeholder Engagement :

Ensure that products and projects have the full support of upper management. Team Guidance :

Provide clear, concise instructions and guidance to engineering teams. Required Qualifications :

Certifications :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Architect. Scrum Master or Agile certification.

Technical Expertise :

Proficiency in React Native, Node.js, JavaScript, Python. Experience with design thinking and product management. Familiarity with Sonarqube or similar code review software. Knowledge of feature management tools like LaunchDarkly or Split.

Educational Background :

Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Technical Management, or Business Administration. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

Experience :

Extensive experience in engineering, with a proven track record in supervisory and technical roles. Highly recommended by peers and former colleagues.
