The Children’s Place is seeking full‐stack developers to be part of a growing Digital Engineering team. We are a team of strong developers and architects working on solving and implementing cutting-edge retail solutions that impact our customers. Software Developers need to understand technology and focus on user experience. We have a robust API gateway, an eCommerce backend, and a decoupled front-end. We are using React, Redux, and Node, and the team requires evaluating and updating our stack to meet business needs and positive changes in the front-end landscape. Software Developers need to collaborate with multi-functional teams across geographies (management, mobile, API developers, UX designers, test engineers, operations engineers, product, and business leaders) to participate in digital product development initiatives for the eCommerce team. This position involves creating, building, and maintaining CI / CD processes, performing release management for SFCC, and possessing knowledge of new Salesforce Commerce APIs, Java-based microservices, and Kubernetes. Key Accountabilities

Contribute to at least 1+ apps in production via commits or code solutions that utilize React, Redux, and Node with ExpressJS in a medium to large-scale organization. Hands-on experience is essential. Deliver solid web applications. Experience with versioning, npm, webpack, and general development understanding of scaling applications. Knowledge of performance tuning, 60FPS, and RUM. Universal App experience is a plus. Understanding of how eCommerce back-ends work. Support critical production issues for launch. Aim to improve user experience and optimize applications for better conversion. Knowledge of DTM or Adobe Analytics. Lead and provide insights to ensure 24 / 7 system operation. Proactively identify performance issues and escalate as needed. Provide first-level support for the Digital eCommerce Stack. Recommend technical improvements and guide DevOps to deliver fixes. Resolve major issues affecting data security, customer functionality, or system performance. Prepare reports and presentations on key KPIs for senior management and stakeholders. Education and Experience

3+ years of experience developing eCommerce solutions on NodeJS and React. Knowledge of eCommerce concepts like UX design, content management, personalization, web analytics, SEO, payment processing, taxation, and order management systems. Familiarity with modern development and collaboration tools (CI / CD pipelines, wikis, etc.). Hands-on experience with DevOps CI / CD using Jenkins and GitHub / BitBucket. Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML) and troubleshooting production issues. Experience integrating on-premise and cloud-based SaaS solutions; AWS experience is a plus. Exposure to Salesforce Commerce suite is advantageous. Skills and Behaviors
