IT Support Engineer

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan Job Type: Contract Department: Information Security & Technology Company: Confidential Client through People Perfect Job Overview People Perfect is hiring an IT Support Engineer for one of its international clients, a leading credit intelligence and financial information company with a global workforce. The role is responsible for Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support, endpoint management, troubleshooting, IT automation, and user access management while supporting the Islamabad office and collaborating with the global IT team. Job Responsibilities Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Windows and macOS . Manage Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Defender, and Jamf Pro . Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues. Manage user accounts and access through Okta . Support device provisioning, patching, and endpoint security. Document issues and solutions in Jira . Identify recurring issues and automate repetitive IT tasks. Support the local office infrastructure, conference rooms, and new-hire setups. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field . 3+ years of experience in IT Support/IT Engineering, preferably in Tier 2/Tier 3 support. Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, Intune, Jamf Pro, Microsoft 365, and Okta . Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN . Experience with Jira and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or AppleScript . Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Cisco Meraki experience. Experience supporting a global/distributed workforce . Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot for IT support or automation.
