Humanstaffingsolutions is a leading staffing agency that specializes in providing companies with top talent in various industries. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced US TRUCK Dispatcher to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Summary:
As a US TRUCK Dispatcher you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching truck drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods across the country. You will work closely with drivers customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders for trucking services
- Assign and dispatch truck drivers to pick up and deliver goods
- Monitor driver schedules and routes to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with drivers to provide updates on route changes or delays
- Track and report on the status of deliveries
- Handle and resolve any issues or complaints from customers or drivers
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Continuously improve dispatch processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in truck dispatching
- Knowledge of US trucking regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems and dispatch software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
