Assistant Manager Motors Salvage & Recovery

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Motors Salvage & Recovery is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the Salvage & Recovery department, ensuring the efficient recovery and management of salvaged motor assets. This role requires a strong understanding of the automotive salvage process, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve department goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the salvage and recovery department.
- Coordinate and manage the recovery, storage, and resale of salvaged motor assets.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize salvage recovery and revenue.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Evaluate salvage bids, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to salvage operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the smooth operation of processes.


Requirements:
- Proven experience in motor salvage management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive salvage and recovery processes and regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
-Profeciency in MS Office, report writing and data analysis tools

Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of achieving targets in salvage and recovery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
