Engineering Manager (Onsite, Lahore, RemittanceSalary)

Requirements: 8+ years of experience with the PHP framework, specifically Laravel. Strong proficiency in SQL databases, including MS SQL and MySQL, as well as version control systems such as Git. Good understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend integration. Experience with unit testing and writing clean, testable code. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Experience working with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration. Familiarity with Nginx, MariaDB, and Galera Cluster in high-availability environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven team leadership and mentorship experience within an agile development environment. Responsibilities: Lead the development, enhancement, and optimization of web and backend applications built using PHP Laravel. Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance technical solutions. Maintain high code quality by following best practices, including OOP, SOLID principles, and unit testing. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering their technical development and overall productivity. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver product features. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to improve development processes and team performance. Implement secure coding standards to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance. Enforce robust authentication, access control, encryption, and other application security best practices. Partner with the DevOps team to maintain secure cloud infrastructure and deployment environments across AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Optimize database performance and server efficiency across MySQL, MS SQL, and MariaDB with Galera Cluster. Configure, manage, and maintain Nginx, Linux-based servers, and distributed system environments. Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tracking solutions to ensure application reliability and system stability.
