Tasks
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and other cross-functional teams to review requirements and provide early feedback on potential quality risks.
- Analyze product requirements and create detailed, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform different types of testing including:
○ Functional Testing
○ Regression Testing
○ Smoke Testing
○ Integration Testing
○ Exploratory Testing
- Perform testing across web applications and API layers.
- Validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting details.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and assist teams in preventing recurring problems.
- Support post-release testing and production validation.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure proper traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Monitor and improve quality metrics within the assigned team.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts playwright or AI related tools.
- Experience with API automation or UI automation tools.
- Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
