System & Network Administrator

The System and Network Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of an organization’s IT infrastructure, including VMware-based virtualized environments. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and availability of systems, servers, networks, and related technologies to support business operations.

What you will do

• System AdministrationInstall, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter Server)Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, Microsoft SQL Server, operating systems, and core applicationsMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity; perform tuning and optimizationManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory / LDAP)Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgradesImplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutionsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues
• Network AdministrationConfigure, manage, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networksMaintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access pointsMonitor network performance, availability, and securityDiagnose and resolve network connectivity issuesImplement network segmentation, routing, and switching policies
• Security & ComplianceImplement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practicesMonitor systems and networks for security threats and vulnerabilitiesManage firewalls, antivirus/EDR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutionsEnsure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirementsParticipate in incident response and root cause analysisSupport IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvementsEnsure high availability and minimal downtime for critical systems

What will you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in system and/or network administration in a well reputable organization

Desirable requirements:

• Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE or Azure certifications)
• Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
• CompTIA (Network+, Security+)
• VMware (VCP)
