Team Leader Corporate Operations – Quality Control focuses on ensuring process quality and continuous improvement across CIBG units.
- Conduct quality review of all CIBG Units to ensure adherence to SOP, PPG, APPM, OPMs.
- Report review outcomes with units and Delivery Managers for timely feedback.
- Recommend and implement corrective action plans to continuously improve standard processes.
- Perform and manage MI / Reports of the unit as directed by the Manager.
Key Result Areas
Review Operations’ processes, procedures, MIS, systems and policies for all CIBG Operation Units to provide assurance from a quality perspective.Ensure quality reviews are conducted as per defined SOP and grid, and work with each unit to achieve a “Satisfactory” audit rating.Release dashboards and reports timely.Assist Delivery Managers to conduct certification for processing units during onboarding and as needed.Establish cordial relationships with relevant internal customers to understand roles and facilitate communication.Act as focal point for audit reports to improve controls.Review RCSA controls across units to ensure alignment with guidelines.Handle unit / productivity / performance MI and reports for timely preparation and reporting.Adhere to SLA & TAT for activities without breaches.Ensure CIBG Operations processing follows the Process Framework in conjunction with operating documents (SOP, PPF, APPM, OPM).Provide quality review of CIBG units covering policies, processes, procedures, and system.Maintain regular interaction with CIBG Process owners, their direct reports and delivery managers.Recognize and report risks associated with CIBG processes and compliance to stipulated standards.Mitigate highlighted risks and issues through appropriate recommendations without unnecessary layers or costs.Provide solutions to erroneous processes highlighted during review.Review standard operating procedures and system manuals periodically to control process risks.Identify key risks in process during reviews and highlight to Senior Management for enhancements.Create risk rating matrix and decide on allocation of appropriate risk ratings to various CIBG Operating units.Recommend changes in CIBG Ops operating standards and processes to align with current operations.Coordinate implantation of changes with operating units.Create refresher training modules to align existing team with SOP changes.Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of all host systems & other operating systems in the Bank.In-depth knowledge in one or more of Corporate & Investment Banking processes such as Account opening, Account Maintenance and / or KYC.At least 5-7 Years of experience in any corporate segment process; core operations experience preferred.Understanding of MIS, systems and related processes.Team Lead expected to manage various team activities, rostering & effective back-up for Manager.Alignment with Bank’s core values and embed right culture for seamless delivery.Seniority level
