Job description
  • To undertake market research to identify sectors with requirements that can be met by the ETB Institutes.
  • To seek knowledge exchange funding and other sources of funding for the ETB programs to enable further work and development of current research and establishment of long term knowledge based relationships.
  • To develop multidisciplinary opportunities and develop alliances in partnership with public, private and third sector partners.
  • To support academics in obtaining collaborative projects and industry-linked studentships, especially making use of ETB resources and strengths through Knowledge Exchange Funding and Partnerships programmes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Seminars and Workshops, training programs.
  • Ability to generate revenue by planning and coordinating workshops / professional trainings.
  • Implementing best marketing techniques to achieve excellence in Evacuee Trust Campus. Ensures effective campus operations (including evening and weekend activities), and recommends operational improvements. Creates and communicates campus schedule and room assignments to faculty, staff, and students. Develop plans and implement goals and objectives to maximize space utilization of the Campus and recommend changes to procedures to increase campus utilization, efficiency, and services. Provide superlative care and service catering to the needs of Campus entities.
  • Overall day-to-day management of all aspects of the Campus. Act as focal person to coordinate cordial communication within and outside the campus. To liaise, both formally and informally, in scheduling meetings, seminars & training programs. To control the expenses budget & handle petty cash according to campus procedures. Record & maintain inventory of the campus. To manage staff effectively to ensure that ETB campus is well presented, functioning, and secure at all times. Improve the aesthetics of the campus and maintain its elegance with strict observation to hygiene and cleanliness. Carry out necessary secure arrangements as well as provide logistic support to campus activities. Technical Skills / Professional Qualifications / Relevant Education & Training :
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven managerial and communication skills and resource mobilization for organizations.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to use MS Office and databases, including MS Project.
  • Knowledge of current trends, branding, and merchandising.
  • Strong education and training acumen.
  • An in-depth understanding of the business opportunities associated with the higher education sector. Job Specification
