Software Engineer - Team Lead

Cyber Search Pvt Ltd, Pakistan

We are interested in hiring a Full-time Senior Level Software Programmer to independently manage our applications and build core web-based applications in PHP using LAMP. This job requires remote management and tight coordination with the senior management team based in the USA and Canada. Other global team members are based in Karachi, Kiev (Ukraine), and Moscow.

Job Specification

  • You will have working experience of developing complex LAMP Applications (Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP) plus AJAX, PERL, HTML, DHTML, and a basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • An integration experience through using interfaces to connect using XML, CURL, VXML, etc.
  • You must have complete knowledge and deployment experience of CMS such as JOOMLA, DRUPAL, and WORDPRESS.
  • A good understanding of utilizing open-source codes for building applications such as ERP, CRM, and BI applications like OS Commerce, SUGAR CRM, VTIGER, WEB ERP, or social network open-source like BOONEX Dolphin.
  • You should have solid database concepts (We want a DBA + LAMP expert in one package).
  • Most importantly, you must understand SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methods of software development, be able to follow flow charts (Functional, Relational, and Process), make use of RUP, AGILE type of SDLC approach, and be able to build ERD independently (Need solid RDBMS concepts).

Personal Attributes

  • Be able to work independently from home without much supervision and follow strict instructions delivered by the project manager such as via Gantt Charts (Timelines), Functional and Process Flow Charts, Pseudo codes, ERD (Entity Relationship Diagrams).
  • You must provide at least two references that will guarantee your character, attitude, loyalty, and skills to work with us.
  • You should be punctual, disciplined, and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to work with our global team that includes several programmers, graphic web designers, and project managers in the USA, Canada, Russia, and Ukraine.
  • You will have ease of understanding and speaking in English.
  • You must have provisioning of reliable Internet, hardware, and all necessary software of your own.
