The position

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the Salesforce Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Gladstone’s Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud. This role is critical in ensuring that our Salesforce ecosystem is reliable, scalable, and optimized for business success.

The Salesforce Engineer will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver projects, implement new features, and ensure our CRM supports the company’s growth. A core responsibility will be developing and customizing APEX classes and leveraging advanced Salesforce features such as AgentForce and Einstein to deliver automation and intelligence to our processes.

Based in Karachi or Islamabad, this role is highly collaborative and requires exceptional communication skills, particularly in English, to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer Salesforce environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.
  • Develop, test, and deploy APEX classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
  • Implement and optimize Salesforce features including AgentForce and Einstein AI for enhanced automation, insights, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain documentation, including a Salesforce knowledge base and training materials.
  • Support and guide end users, ensuring adoption and best-practice usage of Salesforce tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices, recommending upgrades where beneficial.

    • Job Qualifications & Skills

    Core Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration and configuration across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.
  • Strong development experience with APEX classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and customizations.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AgentForce and Einstein AI capabilities.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security, data management, and integration best practices.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Knowledge Base setup and management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices (e.g., version control, sandboxes, deployment pipelines).

    • Desirable Skills

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I / II, Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience with third-party Salesforce integrations (e.g., marketing automation, payment systems).
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum workflows.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
