Job Description

Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
Architect scalable and performant WordPress solutions
Lead technical implementation of WordPress projects
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Optimize WordPress websites for speed and SEO
Implement advanced security measures
Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements and business objectives
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication and regular project updates

Requirements

Skills Required :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field

4-5 years of professional WordPress development experience

Expert-level PHP programming

Advanced understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development

Extensive experience with MySQL and database optimization

Strong knowledge of web security principles

Proven track record of complex WordPress project deliveries

Advanced plugin and theme development skills

Experience with WooCommerce and advanced e-commerce solutions

Performance optimization expertise

Strong understanding of web standards and best practices

Headless WordPress implementations

Advanced SEO and performance optimization skills

Contributing to open-source WordPress projects
