Clinical Nurse Instructor, Department of Medicine

Job Role / Responsibilities:

You are required to:

• developing and conducting courses pertaining to the orientation, basic skills training, in-service, continuing education and sessions for the development of nursing staff
• conducting needs analysis for the nursing and patient care skills required by the staff
• preparing learning experiences to share with staff in academic sessions
• conducting post-evaluations for the effectiveness of learning by the staff
• certifying and supervising the clinical performance of the interns and staff
• performing the required clinical tasks depending on the patient acuity.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:

• a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school
• valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
• at least 1-2 years of experience in critical care area
• hands on skill on ventilator, CRRT dealing and hemodynamics monitoring American Heart Association certified BLS / ACLS Instructor
• preferably post-basic course in at least one clinical specialty
• at least three years’ experience of clinical teaching as well as clinical practice
• excellent knowledge of nursing practices
• good interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with people
• willingness to work in morning, evening and night shifts.
