We have been supplying interpreting and translation services local and nationwide covering 200 core languages and dialects throughout the UK. To date, our 20,000+ strong workforce of face-to-face interpreters speaks over 435 languages and dialects as well as rare and exotic languages. Our 1,000+ translators are all UK-based with a cover for over 200 languages that can be translated to and from English. We have robust systems to manage our pool of translators and interpreters across the country.

Description :

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to set up, monitor, and deliver proactive and professional advice and services. As part of our operational management team, you will be responsible for all quality assurance activities across the business to achieve business plan objectives. Working with wider management, a timetable of regular audits and assessments will need to be created to ensure the business is compliant with relevant codes and legislation, and to highlight any areas of improvement. We are looking for an ambitious and resilient individual to join the team. Based at our head office in Rochdale, we require a proactive Quality Assurance Manager who will play a key role in shaping the behavior of the employees and supporting functions of the operation.

Responsibilities :

  • You will help define, enforce, and review current policy and improve standards across the business.
  • You will validate and coordinate audit and test activities.
  • You will ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements and that business performance is maintained.
  • You will review all current quality systems and make recommendations to streamline and improve compliance.
  • To identify employee training needs and ensure that training of all staff is adequate for the role carried out.

Job Specification

Audit :

  • You will contribute to the development of existing audit processes and systems across the organization and will assist in their implementation and review, ensuring that all audit functions are undertaken in a consistent manner.
  • Identify key issues and trends through audits and complaints and implement improvements.
  • Oversee implementation and conduct internal inspections to ensure that all auditor needs are met.
  • Carry out detailed research and complete documentation including risk assessments.
  • About You :

  • You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as business studies or business administration.
  • APM PFQ, PMQ or PRINCE2 related qualification is a plus.
  • Results-oriented, with a willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion.
  • Ability to monitor your own performance and that of your colleagues.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Team player who demonstrates a high level of integrity.
  • Strong business management and leadership skills.
