Overview Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Lecturer for the Research and Innovation in Pharmaceutical Sciences (RIPS) department. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in research methods, curriculum development, and presentation skills to effectively deliver lectures and guide students through their academic journey. With 2 to 3 years of teaching experience, the individual will contribute to creating an engaging learning environment by preparing comprehensive lesson plans, course materials, and assessments. The lecturer will actively participate in scholarly research, academic conferences, and program accreditation activities to uphold the university's standards. The role demands a passionate educator who supports continuous improvement in teaching quality and promotes academic integrity and professional ethics. The lecturer will collaborate with faculty, contribute to department meetings and academic administration, and build partnerships with industry and academic organizations.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for assigned courses, ensuring clarity and student understanding.
Develop detailed lesson plans, course materials, and teaching resources aligned with curriculum objectives and academic standards.
Assess student assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Supervise and mentor students on research projects, dissertations, and internships to foster inquiry and practical learning.
Engage in active research activities, author publications, and participate in relevant academic conferences to contribute to the field.
Collaborate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation processes in line with Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) guidelines.
Support quality assurance efforts to enhance teaching effectiveness and continually improve the learning experience.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and academic administration tasks to support institutional goals.
Establish and maintain collaborations with industry partners and academic institutions to enrich academic offerings and opportunities.
Uphold high standards of academic integrity, promote ethical practices, and provide guidance and mentorship to students throughout their studies.
