Ruby / Nextjs Web App Developer

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with

2 years of experience

in

Ruby on Rails (RoR)

and

Next.js , who is comfortable working with both front-end and back-end development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, ensuring responsiveness, and collaborating with design teams to deliver robust features. Responsibilities : Design and develop new web applications using Ruby on Rails and Next.js. Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications. Write and maintain clean, reliable code. Develop and maintain back-end components. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team. Connect applications with additional web servers. Build and maintain APIs. Skills : Experience :

2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and Next.js. Familiarity with other common libraries / frameworks.

Technical Knowledge :

Good understanding of Ruby / JavaScript syntax and nuances. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs. Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Basic knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors like Sass / Less. Familiarity with development tools such as Webpacker, Babel, and Redis.

Problem-Solving :

Ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks in code. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into a single system.

Version Control :

Proficient in Git and other version control tools.

Testing :

Familiarity with automated testing platforms and unit tests.

Other Skills :

Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications. Ability to design database schemas to support business processes. Familiarity with continuous integration tools.
