Overview

Mid-Level SAP Hybris Commerce Backend Developer (Production Support)

Location : Onsite / Remote / Hybrid – Karachi, Pakistan

About the role : We are looking for a mid-level SAP Hybris Commerce Backend Developer to support eCommerce operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with SAP Hybris (Commerce Suite), especially in Hybris Backoffice, and will be responsible for resolving AMS (Application Management Services) issues, handling live environment support, and performing backend tasks to ensure system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Hybris Backoffice and backend-related production / live issues.
  • Support AMS activities by identifying root causes and implementing appropriate fixes.
  • Perform data and configuration changes directly through the Hybris Backoffice or ImpEx.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Monitor system performance and logs, addressing issues proactively.
  • Create and manage cron jobs, workflows, and user roles / permissions in Backoffice.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and propose backend solutions.
  • Apply patches and perform minor enhancements as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with SAP Hybris Commerce.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Hybris Backoffice and Admin Console (HAC).
  • Experience with Hybris data models, ImpEx scripts, FlexibleSearch queries.
  • Good knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in AMS / live issue resolution and production support environments.
  • Familiarity with build tools and version control systems.
  • Ability to analyze logs and debug code in a live environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP or integration experience is a plus.
