We are seeking a qualified
Assistant Head of Department (HOD) / Academic Coordinator
to join our
Physics
department at an educational institution in
Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi . In this full-time, on-site role, you will work closely with the HOD to manage curriculum and maintain academic quality. Key duties include supporting departmental leadership and academic planning, coordinating curriculum design and lesson planning, and ensuring high teaching standards. The role also involves acting as a liaison among faculty, students, and management to facilitate smooth academic operations. We are looking for a collaborative educator with a Master’s degree in Physics and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to help drive excellence in our academic programs. Responsibilities
Support HOD in Leadership and Planning : Assist the Head of Department with academic strategy and departmental management. Help develop and update the Physics curriculum and instructional materials, contributing to long-term academic planning. Curriculum and Lesson Development : Work on curriculum design and lesson planning. Aid in creating course content, lesson plans, and assessments. Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high teaching standards and continuously improve student outcomes. Faculty–Student–Management Liaison : Serve as the primary point of contact between faculty, students, and school management. Facilitate clear communication, schedule coordination, and collaboration across all parties to ensure cohesive educational programs. Monitor Teaching and Student Progress : Observe classes and review student performance data to evaluate teaching effectiveness and student learning. Track academic outcomes and recommend improvements or interventions to enhance educational quality. Requirements
Education :
Master’s degree in Physics (or a closely related field). Experience :
Prior teaching experience and / or academic administration experience in a school or online education setting. Skills :
Strong leadership and team-building ability, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Additional Qualifications :
Familiarity with curriculum development and educational best practices is preferred. This position is full-time and based on-site in
