Commercial Proposal
Work as an active team member to ensure timely submission of all RFQs in line with customer requirement Develop tools and models as required to determine the pricing Develop market benchmarks for pricing and ensure that commercial proposals are in line with market expectations Provide analytical support to Commercial teams during negotiations Ensure profitability margins and required returns in line with management guidelines Highlight key financial risks, run sensitivities and build protections against significant risks Contract Renewals & Price Revisions
Ensure that contract renewals are in line with the assumptions in business case Trigger revisions in prices in line with changes in external environments (i.e. Taxation, inflation, etc.) as per commercial contracts Update business cases and identify any adverse impact on profitability and returns Compliance & Control
Ensure compliance to company’s policies and procedures and seek management approvals as and when required Maintain all the records including financial workings for auditors’ review Reporting & Feedback
Develop and share routine updates with management Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget and share commentary Develop feedback mechanism in case of disqualification from RFQ, conduct root cause analysis and suggest ways to ensure competitive pricing in future Job Specification
At least one year of corporate / commercial finance experience Experience in Telecom and Tower Industry is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Understanding of taxation and its impact on business Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Entrepreneurial, thrives in a start-up environment
