Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer to build, update, and manage websites for multiple businesses across different industries, including a print shop, a private office of motor vehicles business, and the company's brand. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in website design, development, and ongoing site management, with the ability to deliver user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional websites that drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Website Development

Build a brand-new website for a print shop, ensuring professional design, intuitive navigation, and e-commerce readiness if required.
Create a website for a private office of motor vehicles business, focusing on streamlined service information, customer appointment booking, and compliance with state requirements.

Website Management & Updates

Update and manage the existing Ship Happens site to maintain functionality, improve design, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Monitor site performance, run regular audits, and optimise for speed, security, and SEO.

Design & Branding

Align website design with each business's branding and marketing goals.

Ensure all websites are mobile-friendly and responsive.

Technical Maintenance

Manage hosting, domains, and email integrations.

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues quickly.

Collaboration

Work closely with management to gather requirements and translate them into effective web solutions.

Provide recommendations for improvements, new features, and digital marketing integrations (e.g., Google Analytics, forms, chat support)

Must Haves

Proven experience in web development and management.

Proficiency in platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or custom development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).

Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and site optimisation.

Experience with integrating payment gateways, booking systems, and contact forms.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Timings : On-site evening night shift following US CST

Office location : Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi
